US Alfalfa is packaged in 48 pound plastic bags. Conventional small square bales weigh about 100 lbs.
The bag measures 12 x 15 x 22 inches when full. Conventional small square bales are about twice that size.
Both of these factors contribute to making our bale easier and more convenient to handle.
